No matter what, there is always at least one thing to be thankful for. There are always worst problems, that you could be facing. I dislike the problems in my life, but everyday I am thankful to not have anymore than I do and that in do time they do end. For problems in life that are going to always be there, like illness, there are many that can be named. My own are Anxitey, Depression, and Fibromyalgia. These have been problems for me my entire life, but have brought me wisdom and strength. I am truly thankful for the problems I don't have. Even though I know if God puts anything on me, it's for reason, lesson, test of faith. I will never turn against Him. Through my pain, He loves me that much harder. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. (Job 1:22 KJV)

Mentally depression can make you find every negative aspect in every situation, but it's up to you to keep fighting against those negative thoughts. I find that thinking of LOVE is all it takes. Thinking of the ones you love and the ones that love you. Love is truly healing. As much as you may think everyone would be better without you, there are people who wouldn't be anything without, they need you. I pray that everyone suffering finds peace within themselves and knows that we must make it through this hell on earth now to see our paradise in heaven later. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. (Philippians 4:8-9 KJV) The lesson I learned is that you can't get by, by waiting. You have to help along to make things happen. The one thing stopping you will always return. Yesterday it began raining while I was out, so I decided not to stop anywhere else, went ahead back to the house. Woke today wanting to go to the store, because I needed some things. Getting up and dressed, out the door, down the road, and while waiting at a traffic light it starts to rain. Yes the one reason I put off last night stopping at the store, today It still ended up being what was in front of me. Many things may be in our way, but when there's a will; there's a way. Our God makes a way out of no way. Don't allow the storms to stop you. Stand By Me I don't need you, but would it be wrong if I did? I want you, and I want your help, not for you to do it all for me, just help keep me focused in the right direction. And yes I must pray and give it over to God, with his help all things are possible. But is it not true that He placed people in our lives for reasons, on purpose. We are here to help one another, if it was meant for us to walk alone, God would not have told Noah to fill the ark two by two (pairs). I don't need you to save me, only my God can do that, stand by and give me a hand so I'm able to work on saving myself.
What is today about for you? From what I can tell for most it's about food. The people you gather with today are they thankful to see you or too see your food? Only if you have been hungry and not knowing where your next meal will be, today is a very thankful day. Today be thankful for what the Lord has given you and today give to others in need. Don't rejoice with just your family and get full. Everyday one should be thankful and why just today? If you wait until today to get with family you don't see, it's very late in the year, why not just get together when you can. Remember if someone wants to see you they will make the time, Thursday is still a day the Lord has made. I would give if I had to give, but I am surly thankful as I am everyday. I rest and relax with my husband and I hope today you all enjoy your day. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. (Psalms 100:4 KJV) What are your distraction(s)? Life are full of distractions, and the more technology grows, the more the distractions in our lives will grow. We have so many notifications popping up all day long, you do you know you can TURN OFF THOSE NOTIFICATIONS? But the internet/social media isn't just the problem with us today. We can be distracted by television also, by people and our own selves. ▪️We get into watching shows and can't talk or do anything else until the show is over. ▪️Others can distract us by keeping us from doing what we need to do. And there are people in our lives that try and keep us on track though but we never want to listen to them (reason.) ▪️We can easier distract ourself by our thoughts, moods, addictions, etc... Holding off what we know we need to do now. Make sure to set aside time in your day for just clearing your mind and maybe do that one thing you have been putting off. Most importantly make time for your God. "Sometimes life hits you in the head with a brick. Don’t lose faith." And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction. (1 Corinthians 7:35 KJV) Excuses, so many can be thought up so easily. I didn't realize it until someone pointed it out to me, reminded me that I had said no more excuses this year, I would stick to my goals. That person asked me in a very caring way, had I been still working out. And I answered truly, I hadn't been, not to the point I should. It made me think of all the reasons I made up in my head why I couldn't, and there the same amount or are far more, definitely more important reasons why I can and should. Number one reason is my health. Really, think, what excuses have you been telling yourself? The one everyone uses is "I will do it tomorrow." You have way more control than you may think to turn things around for you. You have to want change for yourself. I may not know you, but this message is for you and I want you to know you are not alone. Today try and break away from one of those excuses that are holding you back. I broke free today and pushed a little bit FUTHER. Life is what it is, it's what you make it. I think things happen for a reason(s). Now many may not believe in that theory because they may always be on the wrong end of that reason.
So many things have never went the way I've hoped or planned, guess I had to learn to change my thinking. But see you never quite understand why until it's lol over, even then sometimes you may tell yourself anything. Some situations are much more clearer than others. OPEN YOUR MIND. Verse of the day: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:10 KJV Matthew 5:13 – 16 Light Into Darkness A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness. (Job 10:22 KJV) You will always have moments in life where your happiness will turn into sadness and love even to hate. It's important to be able to turn it back around and not fall into the devils trap of despair. When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness; (Job 29:3 KJV) You have to be prepared and keep Gods word close to your heart always, because when things are going well in your life, evil will always be near trying to mess it up. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. (Proverbs 4:19 KJV) You may stumble, you may fall but The Lord will never leave you alone. He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet. (Psalms 18:9 KJV) Priority Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. (Matthew 22:37 KJV) You should make it a priority to have the Lord on your mind throughout your days. It should automatically happen, He should be on your mind when you wake up, when good things happen even to the bad. Once you forget to make Him a priority, you see a difference in how you feel and act. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. (Colossians 3:2 KJV) Money doesn’t save us. Jesus does. Jesus, when You saved me, You brought me from death to life. I am a walking miracle! Increase my faith as I learn to trust You with every area of my life, not just my salvation. "Mark 12 tells the story of a broke widow who went to the temple to worship. Wealthy people walked by the treasury, dropping in huge sums of money. But when the poor widow put in her gift, all she had to give were two copper coins. The value was barely half a cent. When Jesus saw the widow’s offering, He told His disciples that she gave more than all the others. The rich gave out of their abundance, but she put in everything she had. She gave it all, trusting God to meet her needs." Mark 12:41-44 This is a tough one, because you get wrapped up in trying to pay bills, then you see so many things you want, and let's not forget the things you need. You have to make it a priority to give what you can; not what you want to give, but what is in your heart to give. We as people have to get our priorities figured out. Jesus, thank You for being more concerned with the state of my heart than the size of my gift. Help me to grow more generous like You. |
